About Me

My photo
WesternWriter
Native of Redding, Shasta County, California. More than twenty years scholarly research into the Native Americans and the early Euro-American immigrants. I am a Wailakki Wintu, which translated means "I am a human being speaking the north language". The native people of northwest California, beginning north of the San Pablo Bay and continuing north along the west side of the river and the western foothills and into the mountains were Wailakki. I am continuing my search and sharing what I know.
